Try this alternative to the classic meatball!

  • 1 Pound of 99% Lean Ground Turkey Breast
  • 1 Cup of Chopped Onion
  • 3 Tablespoons of Liquid Egg Substitute
  • 1/4 Cup of Skim Milk
  • 1/4 Cup of Whole Wheat Bread Crumbs
  • 1 Teaspoon of Kosher Salt
  • 1/4 Teaspoon of Black Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 Cans of Low-Sodium Tomato Sauce
  • 1/4 Cup of Brown Sugar Substitute
  • 2 Tablespoons of Vinegar
  • 1 Teaspoon of Garlic Powder


Combine the turkey, onion, egg substitute, milk, bread crumbs, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix thoroughly and shape into 12 meatballs.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, and then brown the meatballs.

In a medium-sized bowl, combine the tomato sauce, brown sugar substitute, vinegar, and garlic powder. Pour over the meatballs. Simmer over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes, turning frequently, until meatballs are well gazed and are cooked through.
